Teresa Wren Johnston, MA, LPC received the distinguished alumni award from Richmont Graduate University.

Jason Hess of Whitewater High achieved the highest passing score on the Microsoft Office Specialist Word 2013 certification exam.

Myriam B. Shehata, Marist School; Yash P. Shirsath, Grayson High School; and Austin K. Wang, George Walton High School were announced as United States presidential scholars by the United States Secretary of Education.

Jeffrey Bowman, CEO of Crawford & Company, is the first recipient of the risk science and insurance leadership icon award presented by the Georgia State University Risk Management Foundation.
