The extent of DeKalb County Commissioner Elaine Boyer’s personal spending at taxpayers’ expense is even wider than previously known.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution has discovered that she also put thousands of dollars in personal cell phone charges on her county-issued Visa card, pledging to reimburse the county only after the newspaper began pressing for answers. That’s on top of the thousands of dollars she spent on airline costs, rental cars, a ski resort booking and other expenses, which the AJC exposed last month.

In Monday's newspaper and at MyAJC.com, read about how Boyer charged a series of hefty T-Mobile expenses to the county, and how she's now withholding documents that would explain what the county paid for.
