A 4-year-old boy who had his tablet stolen got a new one from a Good Samaritan, then he got his original tablet back when someone returned it, according to Channel 2 Action News.

After a story aired Monday, showing a thief snatching a tablet out of the boy's hands at the First Coin Laundry on Tara Boulevard, Geoffrey Christian of Fayetteville gave Cameron Nolan a new tablet.

Christian told Channel 2 he was outraged and sad when he saw surveillance video of Nolan playing on his tablet and his brother reading a book Sunday when a man walked up, grabbed the tablet and ran out the door. The station reported that several people reached out to buy the boy a new tablet.

“It really hurt. My son, he kept asking, ‘Mommy, Mommy, am I going to get my tablet back?’” the boy’s mother, Tamara Nolan, said.

On Tuesday, the man who apparently snatched it had a change of heart. The owner of the laundromat called Channel 2 to say the original tablet was returned.

Police are still investigating the theft, according to Channel 2.
