Boy hit by car in Cobb County listed in stable condition
A 13-year-old boy who was hit by a car Wednesday in Cobb County is in stable condition, police said Thursday.
The boy, whose name was not released, was struck by a pickup truck as he crossed Old Canton Road on his bike.
Police said the boy and his 12-year-old brother were inside the crosswalk when the truck driver turned right from Roswell Road and struck the 13-year-old.
The boy was taken by helicopter to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston Wednesday.
Police do not expect to file charges against the driver of the pickup truck.
