A boil water advisory was issued Wednesday for a DeKalb County neighborhood as crews repaired a water main.

The impacted area is 1777 Northeast Expressway, Mount Royal Drive and Oak Lane, the DeKalb County Watershed Division said in a news release.

Watershed crews are fixing a 16-inch main in the area.

To be protected from potential health hazards, residents in the area should boil water for at least one minute before later drinking it, cooking with it or preparing baby food, officials said.

The advisory is expected to last at least until Saturday.
