Bicyclist struck by train in Hall County

A 23-year-old man on a bicycle was struck by a train early this evening in Hall County.
The incident happened at Bell Drive just off McEver Road in Flowery Branch, authorities said.
The man suffered life-threatening injuries when he was hit by the Norfolk Southern train around 6:45 p.m., said Deputy Nicole Bailes with the Hall County Sheriff’s Office. He was flown to Grady Memorial Hospital.
The incident is being investigated.
