Another bear has been spotted strolling around Gwinnett County.
A week after a black bear was hit by a car crossing the road in Norcross, another one was seen in Duluth, police said. The bear was walking near Rogers Bridge Road on Thursday, the Duluth Police Department said on Facebook.

Rogers Bridge Road connects Peachtree Industrial Boulevard and Buford Highway, and connects to multiple residential subdivisions.
Bears should not be approached if seen in the wild. In order to avoid attracting them, residents should secure garbage and bird feeders, keep pet food indoors and clean grills of any food residue, as they could attract the hungry animals.
Police and the Georgia Department of Natural Resources cannot remove bears or take any other action against them, as they are in their natural habitat. Bears are generally more active in the summer due to warm weather and cubs growing and becoming more independent.
