Autry railroad crossing in Norcross closed Nov. 16

Heads up Norcross drivers. The Autry Road railroad crossing will be closed for repairs from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, Nov. 16. Drivers may cross the railroad tracks further north at Holcomb Bridge Road and travel down Thrasher Street to Autry Road or cross at Rowan Street to the southwest to Thrasher Street.

These highly traveled train tracks in Norcross go through regular safety inspections. As part of their safety program, Norfolk Southern conducts regular maintenance to ensure the protection of both trains and automobile traffic traversing the tracks.
