The man who died early Thursday when his motorcycle collided head-on with a MARTA bus has been identified.
Leslie Pullen, 43, of Jonesboro, was pronounced dead at the scene of the East Point collision, the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office said Friday.
The bus was traveling northbound on Washington Road near Janice Drive when Pullen crossed the center line and struck the bus, MARTA spokesman Lyle Harris said Thursday. Pullen was pinned under the front of the bus.
Eddie Harris, one of four passengers on the bus at the time of the crash, told Channel 2 Action News the accident happened so quickly, the bus driver didn’t have time to avoid the motorcyclist.
No injuries were reported among the bus driver and passengers.
