Austell approves nearly $58,000 to restripe roads

Feb 4, 2015The Austell City Council voted Monday to spend no more than $57,719.75 to restripe five roads.
RP Paving Solutions, LLC will be paid from 2015 special purpose local option sales tax funds.
The streets include:
- Austell-Powder Springs Road from Dr. Luke Glenn Garrett, Jr. Memorial Parkway to the city limits
- Joe Jerkins Boulevard from Austell-Powder Springs Road to Jefferson Street Connector
- Joe Jerkins Boulevard from Jefferson Street Connector to Veterans Memorial Highway
- Mulberry Street from Jefferson Street to Veterans Memorial Highway
- Mulberry Street from Jefferson Street to Grace Street
