The Austell City Council voted 6-0 Monday to give $37,209 to the city’s 100 employees for Christmas bonuses and a Christmas dinner.
Of those 100, 89 full-time employees will receive $350 each and the 11 part-timers will be given $175 each.
The remaining $4,134 will pay for the catering of a Christmas meal for the employees at the city’s Collar Community Center by Superior Catering and Gretchen’s Amazing Cake Pies, both from Austell.
