If you’ve had enough of the rain, you’re in luck.

Expect a soggy start to Tuesday, but the sunshine should return later in the afternoon, according to chief meteorologist Glenn Burns with Channel 2 Action News. There is a 60 percent chance of rain Tuesday morning, but those showers should diminish, he said.

High temperatures should stay in the low 50s through the week, a few degrees cooler than the average high of 55 degrees. Check today's full weather report and track changes.

The heavy rains Monday led the National Weather Service to issue flood warnings until 4 p.m. Tuesday for the areas around Big Creek in north Fulton County and Forsyth County. Rainfalls totalled nearly 2 inches in some parts of north Georgia on Monday.

But the rain isn’t gone for good, Burns said. Another round of showers is expected to move into the area Saturday.
