Amid frigid weather, Atlanta is opening its warming center for two days, the city announced.

The warming center — located on 3404 Delmar Lane in northwest Atlanta —will open at 7 p.m. Monday and will remain open through Wednesday morning.

Transportation will be provided from the Gateway Center located at 275 Pryor Street in Southwest Atlanta.

At noon, temperatures in Atlanta were in the low 40s, but the overcast is making it feel like 36 degrees, according to Channel 2 Action News. The city is expected to reach a high of 45 degrees.

For the next two days, lows will be in the 30s with highs reaching the 50s.
