A northwest Atlanta road will close for two months while crews work on sewer main repairs, the city’s watershed department announced Friday afternoon.

The closure will begin Monday along Hollywood Road and will last from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. daily, the city said. The road will be closed between Hightower Road and St. Paul Avenue.

Crews will guide motorists around the work zone and a detour has been put in place. Residents who park their cars on the street will need to find alternative parking.

Businesses and residents will still have access to mail and package delivery, emergency services and trash pick-up.

Drivers are urged to use caution.
