Atlanta police start towing storm-abandoned cars
Storm Jam 2014 is in Atlanta’s rear view mirror now. Well, almost.
The Atlanta Police Department gave citizens until noon Sunday to retrieve any vehicles that were abandoned during the winter storm that paralyzed the city Tuesday.
APD waived the impound fees for vehicles previously towed as a result of the storm. But starting at noon, normal fees apply, authorities said.
