A dog, Millie, is missing.

Atlanta cops are on the prowl for a supposed dognapper.

Video footage shows a dog being taken by a driver in northwest Atlanta on Aug. 23, police said. The months-old Irish Terrier, Millie, has not been seen since.

The owner said Millie was locked away behind a patio fence at 1700 Northside Drive, but he realized the dog was gone around 10:45 a.m., an incident report said. The owner checked with nearby businesses, and his wife inquired at Fulton County animal control, to no avail.

Video footage shows Millie left the patio and started roaming the parking lot, the report said, noting it was not clear how the dog got out. The driver of a white car — thought to be a 2009 to 2011 Mitsubishi Gallant — pulled up and allegedly opened the door, picked up Millie, waited for about five minutes and then drove away.

Anyone with information on the case may call Crime Stoppers at 404-577-8477. All callers can remain anonymous and are eligible for a cash reward up to $2,000 if their tip leads to an arrest and indictment.
