Gov. Nathan Deal has appointed Faye DiMassimo, general manager of the Renew Atlanta-TSPLOST program, to the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority Board of Directors.

The Georgia Regional Transportation Authority is a state-level authority that addresses mobility and air quality in metro Atlanta. In 2017, GRTA combined with the State Road and Tollway Authority to jointly provide the services of both state authorities.

DiMassimo is also a member of the 2017 Atlanta Hall Management Board of Directors for the College Football Hall of Fame and the Earl Smith Strand Theatre Board of Trustees. DiMassimo is a graduate of the Regional Leadership Institute and Leadership Cobb. She earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Public Administration and City Planning from Auburn University.
