Atlanta to offer weatherization funding

SHINE, a residential weatherization program, is providing $1 million in rebates for qualified Atlanta homeowners over the next 18 months. The federally-funded program is offering homeowners up to $3,500 in rebates towards air sealing, insulation improvement, weather stripping, caulking, and the replacement of leaky doors and windows.

On Saturday, beginning at 9:30 a.m. homeowners can get information at the Southface Southeast Weatherization and Energy Efficiency Training Center, 590 Piedmont Ave. Information: www.shineatlanta.com, shine@atlantaga.gov or call at 404-954-8500.
