One of two men wanted on charges in the shooting death of Anton Watson was arrested Thursday, Atlanta police said.

Watson, 35, was found slumped against the front door of a Cobb County residence in October.

Eranus Alexander Jr., 24, was arrested via an anonymous tip submitted through Crime Stoppers, police said. He is currently in Fulton County jail on charges of murder, false imprisonment, criminal attempt to commit armed robbery and kidnapping.

Jeremy Sims, 25, is still at large.

On Oct. 25 around 2:50 a.m., officers arrived at a package store on Donald Lee Hollowell Parkway to find several vehicles damaged from gunfire, but didn’t locate any victims. About five hours later, Cobb County Police found Watson, of Smyrna, dead at a home on Golden Pine Road in Austell.

Atlanta and Cobb investigators determined the shooting happened where the cars were found in Atlanta. Atlanta investigators found probable cause to charge Sims, Alexander and Shaquille Russ in connection with the homicide.

Russ, 24, was apprehended in December and taken to Fulton County Jail. Sims and Alexander were added to the police department’s “most wanted” list in January.
