A man who cops have been looking for since a June assault was recently added to Atlanta Police Department's "Most Wanted" list.

A woman told police her children’s father, Travis Taylor, kicked down the front door to her Custer Avenue home and came towards her with a stun gun. She grabbed the leg of a corner table and told the four children to go into a back room for protection, according to an incident report.

Taylor, 35, allegedly grabbed the table leg and stunned her in the lower back. She took the table leg and threw it at him before grabbing a kitchen knife to “create distance,” police said.

The woman told police Taylor got in his Jeep and tried to strike her. She said she threw the table leg at the car, but missed.

Police reported seeing evidence of the fight and red bruising on her lower back. They noted she showed them a copy of a domestic violence temporary protection order application.

APD asks the public to alert police if they know Taylor's whereabouts. Crime Stoppers Atlanta can be reached at 404-577-8477, and the Atlanta Police Department Fugitive Unit can be reached at 404-546-4220.
