A middle Georgia television anchor who was raised in metro Atlanta died in an accident Thursday, the day before her 25th birthday, according to a media report.

Taylor Terrell joined 41NBC in 2013, the Telegraph of Macon reported. She was born in Atlanta, raised in Conyers, and a graduate of Heritage High School and Georgia Southern University, according to her Facebook and station website biography.

“Taylor was scheduled to be off today to celebrate her 25th birthday,” 41NBC News Director Brandon Long told the Telegraph in an email. “Instead, we’re remembering her spirit, her optimism, and her work.”
