Alpharetta residents are invited to a city “placemaking” workshop Wednesday evening to help determine the future of the North Point Activity Center.

“The Future of the North Point Activity Center: A Hands-On Placemaking Workshop” is to begin at 6:30 p.m. in City Council chambers, Alpharetta City Hall, 2 Park Plaza.

“Placemaking is a people-centered approach to the planning, design and management of public spaces,” according to a city announcement. “Join planning and design professionals, including city staff, for an interactive workshop to develop concepts for public art, architecture style, storefronts, park edges, interior streets and wayfinding signage.”
