Applicants can send a request by mail with their name, address, telephone number, pertinent state hunting license number, e-mail address, self-addressed stamped envelope, and check or money order (no cash) for the $20 special permit activity fee, the Army Corps said. Requests for multiple hunting permits must have all this information for each hunter.
Send requests to: Allatoona Lake Project Management Office, 1138 State Route 20 Spur SE, Cartersville GA 30121. Checks should be made out to: F&A Officer Mobile District, COE.
The first 400 permits will be issued on a first-come, first served basis.
