All lanes of I-75 in Henry County have reopened following a predawn wreck involving a Greyhound bus and two other vehicles.

The crash happened about 3:40 a.m. on I-75 north of Hudson Bridge Road, and blocked most northbound lanes for several hours.

Henry County police Sgt. Joey Smith said a pickup truck with mechanical problems was blocking the far right lane, and was struck by tractor-trailer, which then collided with the bus.

One passenger on the bus was taken to Piedmont Henry Hospital for treatment of injuries that Smith said were not life threatening. The pickup driver and a passenger in the pickup were also taken to Piedmont Henry Hospital for observation, he said.

All but one northbound lane of the interstate was blocked for more about three hours, and two of the four lanes remained blocked just before 7 a.m., causing a backup that stretched for several miles.

All lanes had been reopened by around 8 a.m.

In DeKalb County, a truck flipped over on I-285 southbound near Lawrenceville Highway around daybreak Monday, dumping a load of lumber that blocked most lanes of the interstate.
