All clear on I-285 south in Fulton after accident

An accident that blocked all southbound lanes of I-285 in Fulton County on Wednesday afternoon was cleared around 4:30 p.m., according to the Georgia Department of Transportation.

The incident, which involved an overturned vehicle just past Cascade Road (Exit 7), reportedly caused a 6.5-mile backup and a 70- to 80-minute delay.
