The Aerotropolis Atlanta Community Improvement Districts, which was recently awarded a Livable Communities Initiative grant to complete a trail master plan for the Aerotropolis area, is in need of a firm or organization qualified to provide consultant services to help accomplish the task. AACIDs partners include College Park, Clayton County, East Point, Forest Park, Fulton County, Hapeville and the airport.
The AACIDs, which covers a little more than 15 square miles, has requested proposals for the work on the AeroATL Greenway Plan. Proposals are due May 26. The organization said the greenway would link the communities around Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. Other AACIDs projects include North Commerce and Camp Creek Parkway intersection improvements and Phoenix Boulevard streetscape work.
