The Braves announced plans for the new baseball stadium two years ago, and the team is on schedule to throw its first pitch in Cobb County in April 2017.

The stadium is located in Smyrna, in the Cumberland area off I-285 and I-75.

There will also be a $450 million mixed-use development adjacent to the stadium called The Battery.
