Adult, child struck by vehicle in DeKalb

An adult and child were taken to the hospital Wednesday morning after being struck by a vehicle on Lawrenceville Highway, a DeKalb fire spokesman said.

The accident was at 2373 Lawrenceville Highway, near Robinwood Road, Capt. Eric Jackson said. The adult was listed in serious/critical condition at Grady Memorial Hospital, he said. The child was taken to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston with minor injuries.
