Acworth recycling center move announced

One of Acworth’s six recycling centers has moved from McClain Circle to 4231 Industrial Center Lane for single stream.

Single stream is a system in which all recyclables, including newspaper, cardboard, plastic, aluminum and junk mail, are placed in a single bin or cart for recycling.

Other recycling centers are located at:

Acworth Elementary School, 4220 Cantrell Road for newspapers
Kenworth Park, 4100 South Main St. for aluminum cans, single stream and cooking oil
North Cobb High School, 4100 South Main St. for paper, single stream and aluminum cans
Cobb County Fire Department for cardboard and single stream
Acworth Recycling, 5497 North Main St. for electronics, batteries, ink cartridges and contact dealers
