Acworth Memorial Day celebration set for Saturday

May 25, 2011The city of Acworth’s annual Memorial Day celebration is scheduled for Saturday at Patriots Point at Cauble Park.
Retired Army Brigadier General Jerry J. Bradford will be the keynote speaker discussing his two Vietnam tours, along with tours in Central America and Europe.
The ceremony begins at 10 a.m. and will last about 45 minutes.
Commemorative pavers honoring service members are available for purchase.
