The Acworth Board of Aldermen voted Thursday in favor of two bids and two alcohol licenses.
These actions include approval of:
- up to $255,000 to Vertical Earth Inc. for the Newberry Park parking lot and grading contract to replace the present gravel lot.
- the low bid of $26,075 to Day's Chevrolet for a 2500 Crew Cab Silverado for the Parks, Recreation and Community Resource Department.
- an alcohol privilege license for consumption on premises of beer, wine, liquor and Sunday sales for AJ's Restaurant and Bar, 3365 Acworth Oaks Drive, Suite A, Acworth.
- an alcohol privilege license for consumption on premises of beer, wine, liquor and Sunday sales for Nick's Bar-B-Q, 3329 Cobb Parkway NW, Acworth.
