Lane closures are planned for Ga. 400 in Forsyth County during the daylight hours this week as crews continue the widening of Pilgrim Mill Road, which crosses over the expressway.

Northbound and southbound lanes of Ga. 400 will be affected from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. daily, Monday through Friday, according to a county announcement. The closures include planned traffic pacing and a single lane closure of the northbound, inside lane.

“These closures are all weather dependent, which could result in some fluctuation,” the county said. “Updates will be posted on the county Facebook and Twitter pages as necessary.”

Workers this spring have been widening the Pilgrim Mill overpass at Ga. 400, part of a larger project to widen a roughly 1.7-mile stretch of the highway from Aquatic Circle to Holtzclaw Road. Information: https://bit.ly/2VEyKef
