A 21-year-old Johns Creek man was killed Saturday when he rode a bicycle onto Ga. 400 and was hit by a Woodward Academy bus, police said.

Roswell police spokesman Zachary Frommer said Cody Markel Dawson was riding a bicycle on a ramp from Ga. 140 to Ga. 400 around 9:30 a.m. Saturday when, “he made a right turn onto Ga. 400, crossing into the path of a bus.”

Dawson was taken to North Fulton Hospital, where he died of his injuries.

Frommer said the bus was carrying students from Woodward, a College Park private school with a north metro campus in Johns Creek. No one on the bus was injured.

No charges have been filed.
