A series of ramp and lane closures connected to the reconstruction of the interchange will affect traffic on Ga. 400 and I-285 in the top-end Perimeter area of North Fulton and DeKalb counties, the Georgia Department of Transportation says.
Exit ramps will be closed from southbound Ga. 400 to westbound I-285, 9 p.m.-5 a.m., Feb. 28-March 1; from northbound Ga. 400 to westbound I-285, 9 p.m.-5 a.m., March 1-2; and from westbound I-285 to northbound and southbound Ga. 400, 9 p.m.-5 a.m., March 2-3. Detours will be posted.
Additionally, one left lane of Ga. 400 in both directions will be closed between Hammond Drive and Abernathy Road from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., Feb. 28-March 2; while one right lane of westbound I-285 will be closed from Ashford Dunwoody Road to Perimeter Center Parkway from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. the same days.
Finally, from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., March 2-3, alternately one right and one left lane will be closed in both directions of I-285 from the Lake Forrest Drive underpass to east of Ashford Dunwoody Road; while alternately one right and one left lane will be closed in both directions of Ga. 400 between the Glenridge Connector and Pitts Road.
