$311 million Powerball ticket sold in Michigan

A single ticket matched all six numbers in Wednesday night’s $311 million Powerball drawing, but unless you made a 730-mile road trip to buy your ticket in Michigan, you won’t be calling in rich at work today.

The numbers drawn were 21, 39, 40, 55 and 59, and the Powerball was 17.

One ticket sold in Three Rivers, Mich., matched all six numbers.

With Wednesday night’s win, the jackpot for Saturday’s Powerball game was reset to $40 million.
