More overnight lane closures are planned in the coming days for I-285 and Ga. 400 in preparation for the reconstruction of their interchange in the Sandy Springs-Dunwoody area.
Geotechnical investigations, time-lapse camera installation and drain cleaning and video will require two sets of closings on I-285, the Georgia Department of Transportation says.
From 8 p.m. to 6 a.m., weather permitting, one right lane and shoulder will be closed eastbound from Riverside Drive to east of Ashford Dunwoody Road from July 16 through July 19 and one right lane and shoulder will be closed westbound at Roswell Road from July 19 through July 20.
Also, one right lane of Ga. 400 southbound from Abernathy Road to Hammond Drive will be closed from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m. July 19 through July 20 for survey work and time-lapse camera installation.
