A lottery player in New York is waking up $206 million richer after matching all six numbers in Tuesday night's Mega Millions drawing.

One Georgia player matched the first five numbers drawn Tuesday night -- 23, 32, 33, 39 and 43 -- but not the "Mega Ball" of 8, and won $250,000.

This was the second time this year that a ticket sold in New York has hit a Mega Millions jackpot in excess of $200 million. In June, 20 co-workers at a Long Island Costco store split a $201.9 million top prize in the multi-state lottery.

With Tuesday's win, the jackpot for Friday's Mega Millions game was reset to $12 million.

The jackpot for Wednesday's Powerball lottery was also reset, to $20 million, after a single ticket sold in Maryland matched won Saturday night's $129 million top prize.
