The board over the Technical College System of Georgia approved a plan Thursday to help students graduate from college on time.
The plan was developed with the University System of Georgia and would make it easier for students to transfer among colleges in the two systems. Students would be able to take more classes online and earn credit for work and life experiences. Details on how to carry out these goals are expected in coming months.
The State Board of Regents approved the proposal last month. Gov. Nathan Deal ordered the systems to create the plan.
