After learning that thousands of Fulton County residents did not get cards telling them where to vote prior to the March presidential primary, Fulton County spent $160,000 to send out mailers to the head of every household telling them where to vote on Tuesday.

Still, the county doesn’t want to take any chances. They’re also advising residents to verify their polling locations before they go to cast their ballots.

To help residents find their districts, and identify precinct boundaries and poll locations, the department posted maps on the Fulton County website. The Secretary of State's office also has an on-line poll locator tool on their My Voter Page.

“In order to have a smooth voting experience, I strongly encourage all residents to verify the location of their polling place before heading out to vote on Election Day,” Fulton County Registration and Elections director Richard Barron said in a statement.

Polls will be open from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Tuesday.
