A former Federal Reserve official is poised to become the next Fulton County manager.
The Fulton Board of Commissioners Monday named Richard “Dick” Anderson the sole finalist for the job. Anderson has served as chief operating officer at the Board of Governors of the Federal Reserve System and executive director of the Georgia Regional Transportation Authority. According to a county press release, he has also had an extensive career in the telecommunications industry.
Anderson would replace Dwight Ferrell, who served as manager for a year before commissioners fired him in October.
