Fulton County has named the general counsel for the Atlanta BeltLine as the sole finalist to be the county attorney.

Patrise Perkins-Hooker, the immediate past president of the State Bar of Georgia, has also been a vice president at the BeltLine for the past six years.

She has a bachelor’s degree in industrial management from Georgia Tech, a Master of Business Administration from Emory University and a law degree from Emory University.

Fulton currently has an interim county attorney, Jerolyn Ferrari, who has been in the role since this summer. Since the new county manager, Dick Anderson, came in in the spring, he has been trying to fill director positions that had not had permanent leadership.
