As part of a plan to reform its criminal justice system, Fulton County is making a push to clear out old cases — hundreds of felonies that have been unresolved for more than a year, and tens of thousands of cases in magistrate court and in front of the solicitor general.

The goal is to resolve a backlog, from felony murder to misdemeanor shoplifting, in the coming months.
