DeKalb County residents facing high water bills now have more options to dispute them.

Additional billing dispute locations are opening across the county, where residents can fight charges that they believe are incorrect.

They’ll be able to speak with representatives about their bills and place their accounts in dispute at these locations. Residents who enroll in the dispute process won’t have their water disconnected as long as they continuing to pay their average bill amount.

“By adding these additional sites and times, we are providing convenient locations to accommodate varying schedules to help address customers’ concerns about their water bills,” said Interim DeKalb CEO Lee May.

Residents can continue to contact customer service representatives by phone at 404-371-3000 or at the Utility Customer Operations Center at 774 Jordan Lane near Decatur.
