DeKalb community breakfast focuses on safety and cleanup

DeKalb police will discuss community safety, emergency officials will provide disaster preparation tips and a local clean-up effort will be launched at a public breakfast meeting Saturday.

The DeKalb Community Cabinet Breakfast, hosted by Commissioner Stan Watson, includes free food and is open to all.

The event will be held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. at Stephenson High School at 701 Stephenson Road in Stone Mountain. It’s co-sponsored by Stephenson High, Stephenson Middle and the Pine Ridge Elementary parent and teacher association.
