DeKalb County Commissioner Jeff Rader has been named the chairman of a key committee for the Association County Commissioners of Georgia, which develops policy for local governments across the state.

Rader will lead ACCG’s Federal Policy Committee after he was recently appointed to that role by Gwinnett County Chairwoman Charlotte Nash, who is ACCG’s president.

Rader’s committee will study national policy issues that affect local governments and then create advocacy strategies for counties in Georgia.
