Couples looking to skip the hassle of wedding planning can show up at the Cobb Magistrate Court this Friday by 5:30 p.m. to be married by Judge Brendan Murphy.

The event is free and open to the public in honor of Valentine’s Day.

Reservations are neither required nor accepted, but couples must bring a marriage license issued by a probate court.
