Clayton County Water Authority’s 16th annual Wetlands & Watershed Festival will be held Saturday from 11 a.. to 4 p.m. at the Newman Wetlands Center in Hampton. The free festival gives visitors a chance to learn about protecting wetlands and watersheds while enjoying live animal exhibits, nature crafts, scavenger hunts, a guided wetlands walk and other activities. This year’s festival will debut the authority’s new log. The Newman Wetlands Center is at 2755 Freeman Rd. The festival will be held rain or shine.
