Clayton Chairman to host Dec. 11 toy drive

Clayton County Commission Chairman Jeff Turner is teaming with the Ambassadors Behind CASA (ABCs) organization for the annual fundraiser and toy drive for abused and neglected children in Clayton. The 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. event will be held Dec. 11 at the Skybox Restaurant, 2190 Mount Zion Parkway in Morrow. Chairman Turner will collect toys and monetary donations between the hours of 6 p.m. - 9 p.m. Only new toys will be accepted. Anyone who can not attend the event can call 770 471-8122 to arrange for a drop-off of their donation at the commission office at 112 Smith St. in Jonesboro prior to the fundraiser.
