Brumby Elementary School is celebrating 50 years ahead of its move to a new building.

The Brumby staff and alumni are inviting the public to school's media center on Sunday for a bit of history.

Historical photographs and articles will be on display and former staff and students will be able to walk through and reminisce about their time at the Marietta school, Cobb County school district officials said.

Staff will also be there to answer questions and direct visitors.

Brumby students have only one more year in the current building on Powers Ferry Road before moving to a new building on Terrell Mill Road.
