Jersey Mike's wants you to clear your lunch or dinner plans for a good cause today.

The national sub sandwich chain has designated Wednesday, March 29, as its Day of Giving. At Atlanta-area locations, every purchase Wednesday will benefit Bert's Big Adventures, a charity that helps terminally ill children take trips to Disney World with their families. The  nonprofit was founded in 2002 by popular radio host Bert Weiss and his former wife Stacey.

The Day of Giving culminates Jersey Mike’s seventh annual Month of Giving fundraising campaign, which supports nearly 150 charities nationally. Last year, the campaign raised a whopping $4 million for its charity partners.

"On March 29, Day of Giving, we give to give by donating 100 percent of sales to our nearly 150 partner charities nationwide,” Peter Cancro, founder and CEO ofJersey Mike’s, said in a written statement. “The opportunities to give are all around us so please seek out your opportunity to give and make a difference in someone’s life."
